A Bit o' Math Blarney

Your students will enjoy helping the leprechaun sort the true and false number sentences/equations in this cute math center for K-2 students. This center includes 2 sets of cards to sort, sorting mats and a recording sheet. The cards cover addition number facts and greater than, less than or equal to equations. The recording sheet has the added challenge that students are expected to correct the incorrect equations. Lots of St Patty's Day learning fun!

Is Spring in the air?

Are you feeling Spring yet? Here in South Africa we are still having glorious sunny weather. In fact, I spent the morning at the rock pools on one of our beautiful beaches with my daughter's play school. What a magnificent morning it was - sunny and warm with a gentle sea breeze to take the edge off the heat! Now that I have you jealous of our lovely warm weather, I hope my friends in the Northern hemisphere are beginning to feel the start of Spring. Little book of fractions and calendar activity FREEBIE!

I have just posted a cute little Fractions booklet to TpT. In this booklet your students will work with wholes, halves, thirds, fourths/quarters and fifths. There are also 2 pages of activities for fraction recognition and naming.
I have also added a calendar activity FREEBIE! In this activity students use the February calendar to fill in information and answer questions. The cute little Valentine's bear graphics make this a terrific Math Center for Valentine's Day!
